Do I need to be home for every cleaning service?

No. Because we work on an 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. schedule, Monday to Friday, most of our customers aren’t home when we arrive. In a majority of these cases, our insured house cleaning professionals are provided with a spare key or garage code. If you choose to be home we will gladly work around your preferences of where to start cleaning, etc.

What time does your team arrive?

While we cannot warranty our exact time of arrival because we give every home the attention it deserves and requires, we do offer arrival windows for your convenience. We have 9:00-9:30 am 12:00-1:00 or 2:00-3:00 arrival times.

What if something's damaged during a service?

At Sweep Away we are bonded and insured to treat every single home we clean with the utmost respect. If something happens to break during our routine service, we’ll do our best to repair or replace the item. Our residential housekeepers are fully insured, so claims can be filed when appropriate.

What if something is missed or not cleaned well?

What do you not clean?

What if I need to reschedule a service?

If you need to cancel or reschedule a cleaning, we recommend that you call about 48 hours before your next scheduled service. We’ll do our best to accommodate all of your scheduling needs. We also send you a confirmation text reminding you the day before your next scheduled cleaning. If you need to reschedule that is the time to do so.

Do you always send the same house cleaners?

If a member of your team is absent, we’ll do our best to find the most suitable replacement. Do your house cleaners accept tips?
While tips aren’t expected, we’re allowed to accept them. Some of our clients prefer to tip a little at the end of each service while others provide a large tip at the end of the year.
